For over 25 years, Lizzie has called Waltham home and she is dedicated to fighting for the issues important to our community by implementing thoughtful, impactful plans. After graduating from Boston College, Lizzie chose this city for her home because of its affordability, trendy downtown, and green spaces.
Lizzie’s ability to create real solutions for this city comes from her two decades of experience as an IT professional. In her job, Lizzie provides technical support to senior level executives in a leading, local, voice recognition company. Her work experience helps her to understand the importance of prioritizing, especially when there are conflicting considerations, stressors and interests. Lizzie have proven her ability to manage through crisis, adversity, and challenges. Lizzie doesn’t quit. She works to ensure everyone feels safe, engaged, and knows that they really matter.
Lizzie and her wife have spent over 20 wonderful years together. Their connection to Waltham runs deep. They were even married in the Council Chamber in Waltham City Hall. Nina and Lizzie are the proud parents of 3 animals, two of which are rescue dogs with disabilities from Puerto Rico.
Lizzie is a supporter of Friends of the Waltham Library, WATCH CDC, Greater Boston Food Bank, Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School in Lawrence, Planned Parenthood, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, MSPCA, Wags2Riches Dog Rescue, Nine Lives Cat Rescue, Emily’s List and the Pennington School (NJ).
When she isn’t working to improve our community, Lizzie de-stresses by baking and trying to garden, that’s as long as the bunnies don’t eat all my veggies first!
